Hlučínsko is also presented as "Odpustový region". It offers traditional festival. (Odpust=celebrating the name of church′s patron). Kravaře inhabitants don′t forget to keep all traditions and customs.

 

Come to witness a weekend packed with cultural, gastronomic and culinary experiences. „Prajzky dvur"and „Louka plná zábavy" are waiting for you. We will explain why one part of Hlucinsko is called Prajzka and the other one Cisarska. Visit our region and try our traditional meals.

 „KRAVAŘSKÝ ODPUST - firework, happiness, and entertainment

"Kravařský Odpust" - more than hundred years old tradition.
The period of „Kravařsky Odpust" is during a long weekend (Friday-Monday), which is the closest to 24.8.  On Sunday you can visit a celebrating mass in the Kravaře church. After the mass is over, there is the parade with a folk music, which goes from the church to Odpust areal. Everything ends on Monday with a fabulous firework.

It is the only one weekend in the year, when on the Kravaře street is allowed to sell everything. Our town changes to fair town in this time. All streets are shining with all colors, beer stream, attractions are spinning, and music is playing from every edge. Come to visit a haunted castle, autodromes, stalls with different kind of goods, and don′t forget about beer stalls. Because of many people, Tyrsova Street is closed in this time.
